We recommend
Dorset Chamber has launched the ‘Future Leaders’ Forum’. This new group for young professionals, aged up to 30, is designed to be an informal yet professional environment where peers can meet and discuss current issues facing them in the workplace. With a quarterly-event programme planned, the Forum has been developed to facilitate great networking, to provide peer support, and promote personal development.
Through its events, the Forum will explore the issues facing young professionals in the workplace including topics such as: Financial Wellbeing, Mental Health in the Workplace, and Workplace Sustainability. However, the Forum is about the young professionals who are part of this group, so we want to hear ideas from you!
Shape the vision
The Future Leaders’ Forum will be shaped by a sub-group committee, who will attend events and be on hand to provide further support for members. The Chair of this committee will also sit on the Chamber Board to represent and share the issues raised and discussed at events, as appropriate. If you, or a member of your team, would be interested in nominating themselves for the committee, please email Kat Tegg on events@dorsetchamber.co.uk
Attend the launch
The launch of the Future Leaders’ Forum takes place at Mazars in Poole on Thursday 26th January, 4pm-6pm. As well as refreshments and networking, attendees will hear from Dorset Chamber’s CEO Ian Girling about building the Future Leaders Forum and how it is a valuable group to be a part of as well as an opportunity to network with other young professionals.
