We recommend
What made you start your own company?
We started way back in 2001 when I graduated from The University of Bath, back in the days before Google and social media. I guess I wanted to try my hand at being self-employed when I had very little overheads to worry about… and have never looked back.
Tell us about your team
There’s 8 of us now. Alex and I do sales and project management. We have Andy, Stu and Tom who prefer the technical bits, Dan and Paul who like the front end ‘pretty’ bits, and Viki who does our marketing! We’re a very friendly bunch, and clients get to talk to the team directly.
Tell us about your clients – any familiar names?
Our more famous names included Aviva (previously Friends Life), The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and The Royal Marines Charity, but don’t think they’re all we’re after! We work with a lot of smaller local companies and still appreciate our first and longest-lasting client who recently retired. His name was Harry, and was an independent towbar fitter from Scotland.
What are you proud of?
We are not only carbon neutral, but are carbon negative and have dated this all the way back to 2001. By making changes to our office and business, we recently won the Green Business Association’s Gold award for our sustainability. Oh, and of course, we’ve won a few awards for our websites as well!
What are some of the services that you offer?
Website design, website development, eCommerce, search engine optimisation (SEO), Google Ads, social media marketing, security audits, expert witness, custom system development, integrations… basically think of anything web-related, and we probably do it.
When you’re not busy working, what do you like to do?
Either days with my wife, Monika, my children, Maximus and Isla, and my Yorkshire Terrier, Flipper, or flying. I recently got my pilot licence you see, so am keen to take to the skies whenever I can.
Where do we go for more details?
Either visit www.webbedfeet.uk, or see me at one of the upcoming Total Guide To networking events! I’m always happy to have a natter.
