Tell us about your role with ESET
I actively research threats and look at the current cyberattack trends and then help companies around the world in highlighting these threats through education and awareness.
You’re often seen on national TV talking about cybersecurity. Do you get nervous?
Yes everytime! But I absolutely love it and I enjoy every interview however tricky – try and stop me talking!. Most grilling was BBC Breakfast being questioned on whether the Chinese government are spying on us through our phones – that was a tricky 6 minutes. But hey, they offer make up so I’ll take live TV any day!
What is your biggest achievement to date?
Taking down WhatsApp globally in a vulnerability discovery. Sorry about that!
Can you share your hopes for the future of business in Dorset?
Dorset has it all – and the technology industry in the area is just beginning to take off. What a great time to be a part of it.
