New Bournemouth Workspace Hub to Open in September 2024

September 2024 will mark the opening of Patch’s newest workspace hub in Bournemouth, situated on the first floor of the iconic Bobby’s building.

The £2 million project will feature design-led coworking spaces and offices, as well as areas designated for community and cultural activities. This new venture promises to be a cornerstone for local entrepreneurs, creatives, and community builders by being dedicated to nurturing entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and community engagement.

The new venue is by Patch, a workspace, social-impact startup business with locations in Chelmsford, High Wycombe and Twickenham. In collaboration with well-known Bobby & Co, this partnership is part of a broader vision to revitalise the historic Bobby’s department store, formerly Debenhams on Bournemouth Square. Beauty, health, food, drink, art, culture, and community are aimed to be the driving themes at Bobby’s.

Patch at Bobby's is designed to be a home for the Bournemouth and wider Dorset community, offering a range of beautifully designed work and event spaces. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the hub will provide a new town-centre location where individuals can work, connect, share ideas and contribute to positive social impact.
