Tell us about your business
I established AndreapennA Phorography in 2018 as a part-time job, delivering 2 weddings, various live music festivals and the imagery for Qudos hotel in Salisbury in that year. Growing since then, I finally moved full time in 2023 after 23 years in the IT Consultancy world.
What are some of the services that you provide?
AndreapennA Photography provides Wedding, Corporate, Events and Real Estate photography services.
I embrace the Italian high-end craftmanship my country is famous for; with high attention to details, high quality in my final products and focus on the overall experience.
Has there been a particular business highlight this year?
Joining networking groups has opened the doors for collaborations with various wedding venues, other wedding suppliers and other businesses in general.
January has been a very busy month for me. I worked on my layout/presentation material for 10 wedding fayres I’ll exhibit at in next couple of months, I’ve completed and delivered various photoshoot (marketing imagery for a wedding venue, 100 headshots for the Salisbury Hospice, TBN event, a corporate trainer headshot session) and I still have a couple of photoshoots to deliver. Plus refining my wedding photography website.
What do you most love about working in the South?
I’m enjoying the different opportunities and business connections that are flourishing every week, plus I love of the Jurassic Coast and the New Forest - I spent so many days between beaches, cliffs, and forests during lockdown – have a look at my insta feeds and you’ll see what I mean!
When you’re not busy working, what do you love doing in your time off?
I play an electric bass, and I’m currently organising a gig in Italy later in the year with some Italian friends. We have just finalised the set list and started practising for it.
Tell us about your favourite restaurant
Hmmm, do I have one? I like exploring new places when the rest of the family allows it, but a recurring one is Prezzo in Salisbury – they make a good Italian pizza!
