Tell us about Wrap ‘n Roll. What can customers expect?

Our goal is to introduce bold new flavours to wraps, featuring slow-cooked meats paired with fresh, flavourful items that elevate every bite. Our sides include perfectly roasted potatoes, freshly prepared in-store.

We also offer a delicious selection of Yorkshire pudding wraps and our signature Yorkshire Bowl—a hearty roast dinner served in a giant, golden Yorkshire pudding.

How did you get your start in the food industry?

After more than 20 years as a chef, working in hotels, restaurants and events, I was ready for a new challenge. I set out to create my own brand and concept, drawing on decades of experience to build a business I could call my own.

What was a challenge you had to overcome while starting Wraps ‘n Roll?

We’ve received an incredible response from the people of Poole and are thrilled to be part of the vibrant Dolphin Centre, named the Dolphin Street Food. However, many still aren’t aware of our presence and the amazing food we offer. This applies to the other four units here as well. It’s time to spread the word and let Poole know we’re here, serving exceptional food that the community can truly be proud of.

What is your favourite menu item at the moment?

Our menu is carefully crafted to cater to all tastes, but a few standout dishes have become crowd favourites. Our slow-cooked beef wraps have been a hit, and our pulled pork wraps, packed with smoky, flavourful ingredients, never fail to impress. as we are in Poole, our fish fingers are made in-house using generous portions of whole fish and our own tartar sauce for a truly satisfying bite.

During the Christmas season, we introduced our unique take on the Yorkshire pudding wrap, which was met with great enthusiasm. With our signature twist, these wraps offer a fresh and exciting take on the classic, and we’re thrilled to announce they’ll be available year-round.

Why did you pick The Dolphin to be located in?

The Dolphin Shopping Centre launched the initiative to expand its selection of food outlets, similar to their successful project in Kingsland. Designed specifically to support startup businesses, it presented a great opportunity for me to bring my idea to life. Now, I’m excited to see where this journey leads!

How do you ensure high quality food and drinks at Wraps ‘n Roll?

At our establishment, we take pride in sourcing our ingredients locally, showcasing the best that Dorset has to offer. From our premium beef and lamb, carefully sourced from local suppliers to our fresh salad items, we prioritize quality and community in every dish. Our meat is slow-cooked to perfection, allowing the rich, tender Flavours to shine through in every bite. To complement our meals, we serve Dorset Tea and Jurassic Roast Coffee, championing local favourites.

We also strive to offer something truly unique, from our innovative Yorkshire pudding bowls and wraps to our thoughtfully curated selection of cold drinks. The team and I are constantly exploring new ways to elevate our menu and create a one-of-a-kind dining experience right here in Poole.
