Prominent Bakery Chain to Open New Branch in Dorset

Reeve the Baker, a beloved Southwest bakery chain established in 1952, is set to open a new branch in Wimborne this September.

Known for its wide range of baked goods and welcoming atmosphere, Reeve the Baker will be adding to its existing locations in Blandford, Sherborne, Ringwood, Shaftesbury, and various other sites across Somerset and Hampshire.

The new bakery will be located on Wimborne High Street, taking over the space previously occupied by Café Aroma, which has since relocated next door.

In addition to its usual offerings, the new branch will participate in the popular food waste app ‘Too Good To Go,’ where customers can purchase unsold food at a discounted price. For £4, customers can receive a "magic bag" containing a selection of baked items valued at £12. The company has already sold over 6,500 of these magic bags since the scheme launched in 2023.
