Review: Brunch at 44.Bamboo Westbourne

We were recently invited down to check out 44.Bamboo and have a bite to eat. 44.Bamboo is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in the heart of Westbourne. With a huge menu catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Brunch has got to be one of our favoruite meals, it's that time inbetween breakfast and lunch where the possiblities are endless. Noone is going to judge you for ordrering a cocktail alongside your fry up and that's what I love!

We recently went down to 44.Bamboo after hearing wonderful things about it, we were so pleasently suprised to arrive in what felt like a gorgeus litte corner of mediterranean heaven in the mdiddle of Westborne. All dishes are made fresh to order and by adding a little twist of the mediterranean to some of our most love dishes they instantly took them to a whole new level of goodness. There really is something for everyone at 44.Bamboo as the menu is huge!

We opted to dine from the breakfat menu as it was still pretty early. As tempting as the cocktails were, as we were with our toddler we opted for smoothies and coffee. They were so great with our little one, making sure we had a table with plenty of space for the push chair and getting her a high chair. They said hello to her every time they walked by and even though she can be a tad on the noisy side singing and things they made us all feel so welcome, it really does have a lovelly family feel.

When the smoothies arrived they were so vibrant and fresh, I always find when I make them myself at home they're too sour but these were spot on!

For food I had the 'Sea Breeze' breakfast which contained poached eggs with salmon, avacado, halloumi beans and sourdough, it was devine. The salmon was so fresh and the eggs cooked to perfection! My partner opted for the 'Mornier Brekkie' where sweet meets savoury with french toast, fruit, maple, halloumi, sausages and scrambled eggs. it looked unreal, and judging by his empty plate at the end I would say it was a hit!

The pancakes sounded too good not to try so we ordered the 'Naughty Nutella' for our daughter and may have snuck a little bite or two ourselves! Yes they naughty, but so so worth it.

We left throughly full after a lovely visit to 44.Bamboo. We can't wait to go back.

Check out the full 44.Bamboo menu here.
