The Ibberton
Highly recommended, The Ibberton is a friendly, cosy, 16th century country inn with lovely original features. They pride themselves on home-cooked scrumptious food, welcoming, warm and an array of tasty dishes and ales to choose from.
They offer an excellent Sunday lunch with a choice of three meats and traditional trimmings, at very reasonable prices. Booking is essential (Call on 01258 817956), as Sunday lunch is VERY popular here.
The Ibberton don't publish their menus online, as they are seasonal and constantly changing. Everything is prepared fresh, using glorious local Dorset produce.
Alongside the Sunday Roast, Pub Classics such as fish and chips and Blackboard specials with Wild Boar and Apple Sausages, Scotch eggs and Home-cured Salmon, are available. Sticky Toffee pudding and Baked Alaska have been known to feature too.
Everchanging wines, local bitter and Dorset cider are on offer too.

The Royal Oak
Recently voted as having the ‘best Sunday lunch in Dorset’, The Royal Oak offers a magnificent carvery every Sunday from 12 pm to 7.30 pm, for the whole family to enjoy.

The Old Ox Inn
As we all know, Sunday lunch is a sacred affair and in keeping, The Old Ox Inn, offers one of the best roast dinners in Blandford.

The Bakers Arms
The Baker Arms (named thus since 1821) is a quintessential rural pub, situated at the foot of Hambledon hill. Owners James and Desi, have made it their mission to create a perfectly balanced, freshly prepared, home-cooked Sunday lunch menu for you to enjoy with family and friends.
Start your Sunday off right with a Classic cocktail such as a Bloody Mary or a Negroni, closely followed by a snack of The Baker Arm's Scotch Egg or the Pulled Beef Brisket & Gruyere Croquettes, with Gochujang mayo.
The choice of roast varies weekly from, Slow Roast Pulled Beef Brisket, Confit Duck Leg,

The Anchor Inn
The Anchor Inn is a rare thing, it is actually owned by the village and completely independent. A lovingly restored gastro pub, run by a very able landlord (and neighbour) and his excellent team, Sunday roasts here are, quite literally, a cut above and so popular, they offer two sittings!
