You can enjoy a new exhibition that gives you a glimpse into the local history of Corfe Castle and the Isle of Purbeck, beginning with the famous footprints of the Iguanodon, a long-extinct dinosaur, and extending through to the present day. It incorporates numerous engaging interactive exhibits and a new touchscreen showcasing aspects of village life, celebrations, and traditions.
The interactive touchscreen also features a collection of short videos made by students from the Corfe Castle Primary School Local History Project.
Admission to the museum is free, and is open from 10am to 6pm every day throughout the year.
The Museum is on the ground floor of the smallest Town Hall in England and although it is quite small, it’s well worth a visit for little ones and adults alike.
