Poole Quay Bike Night Saved!

In a remarkable display of community spirit, the landlords of two popular Poole Quay pubs have stepped up to ensure the Poole Quay bike nights continue, despite facing just six weeks notice.

Anna Doyle of the Lord Nelson and Michelle Smith of Poole Arms have joined forces to rescue Poole Quay's beloved bike nights following a reduction in events sanctioned by the BCP Council.

These Tuesday night gatherings, which annually attract motorcycle enthusiasts and spectators, transform the quay into a unique, vibrant location where bikers congregate to showcase their machines.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of Anna and Michelle, who have secured five weeks of consecutive bike nights, the first one will return on 16th April 2024.

In their determination to keep this local tradition going, Michelle and Anna are actively seeking sponsors, stall holders, bands, display bikes and volunteer marshalls.

The duo are intending to reinstate a charitable focus while introducing a "bike of the week" competition, and a "bike of the year" at the end of the season.
