Swanage Railway launches Jurassic Adventure with Boat and Buses
In a bid to draw more visitors, Swanage Railway has launched a new marketing strategy - an enticing day out deal, combining a boat trip, steam train journey and bus transport. Partnering with City Cruises and Morebus, passengers can embark on a picturesque round-trip adventure from Poole Harbour to Swanage and back, incorporating a steam train ride between Swanage and Corfe Castle, along with unlimited bus travel.
Unlimited Day Travel by Rail, Bus, and Boat:
Dubbed the "Jurassic Adventurer," this excursion caters to visitors from Bournemouth and Poole, yet it's open to all, allowing for flexible starting points. With unlimited travel privileges on the train, boat, and Morebus network throughout the day, visitors can explore to their heart's content.
Breathtaking Coastal and Countryside Scenery:
Bookings for this captivating journey commenced on Saturday 30th March 2024, alongside the launch of City Cruises' summer operations, just in time for the Easter holidays. Subject to weather conditions, tickets will be available daily until the end of October 2024.
The expedition promises awe-inspiring vistas of Poole Harbour, Brownsea Island, Sandbanks, Old Harry, Swanage, Corfe Castle, Wareham, and the spectacular coastal and countryside landscapes between these destinations.
Boosting Swanage's Visitor Footfall:
This initiative not only enriches the travel experience but is also promising for Swanage's local businesses. Increased tourist traffic is expected to lead to heightened spending for the town's shops and establishments.
The Jurassic Adventurer ticket is priced at £39.50 for adults and £28.50 for children, offering access to all Morebus routes, Swanage Railway, and City Cruises trips throughout the day.
