Brief intro: I'm a lifelong entrepreneur, having built businesses in festivals, nightlife, sportswear, and now podcasting. I love putting smiles on peoples faces all by the power of Events. Over the past 25 years, I've launched five successful companies, produced over 17 festivals, and sold over a million tickets.

Perfect day in Dorset: Dorset in the sun is unrivaled. So summer days around the sea, with family, friends, good food and a few cheekies. I grew up in London, so now having the best beaches in the UK on my doorstep is something that I’ve fallen in love with.

Fondest memories: Definitely the early days of Bournemouth 7s just after moving to the area. Seeing the festival concept grow from a small gathering to a world-renowned festival brings a massive amount of pride and is great to look back on.

Proudest achievement: Other than my family, building a strong team and community around my ventures is something I’m very proud of. Seeing so many people enjoy the results of their hard work, and witnessing their ideas come to life puts a big smile on my face.

Inspiration: I love chatting with anyone who's passionate about ideas, no matter what the subject. That’s why the Eventful Lives Podcast has been a massive gamechanger for me. The people I interview can inspire me, educate me, and sometimes definitely shock me, but the conversations are always fascinating. Sometimes something said in passing can spark something in me, inspire a change and lead to growth that I didn’t know I needed.

Day off: I like to spend time with my wife and boy, and enjoy what the Dorset countryside has to offer. We’re so lucky to live in this part of the world, and there’s nothing better to help unwind than getting out there and taking advantage of being in the best place to live in the UK. (Don’t tell any more Londoners!)

Dorset associations: Nature, community, and energy. Dorset's countryside, beaches, the incredible people who live here, and the growing community of exciting entrepreneurs all combine to make it a truly special place.
