TGt Meets...FAMFEST, Dorset's Number One Family Friendly Festival

FAMFEST is coming to multiple venues in Dorset this summer 2021 to offer you an afternoon of family festival fun! We asked the creators of FAMFEST an array of questions that we thought you might want to know, so check them out below...

Who is FAM FEST best suited too? 

Anyone and everyone who loves music and outdoor festivals – a great introduction to the world of festivals

What inspired the idea of having multiple themes?

Musical tastes vary so much that we’ve tried to offer a bit of something for everyone – we’re already working on some new ones for next year!

What activities do you have on offer for children?

As well as being outdoors and taking in the DJ live music sets; there is lots on for the children to explore. From silent disco, festival glitter, tattoos, Slime making, Flower crown making to ice creams, bead bar, candy floss & Popcorn and not to forget the biggest attraction...watching their parents’ busting some moves!

Are there stalls for food and drink? If so, is there something that will suit different diet requirements and kids?

Festival goers are encouraged to bring their own picnics (all drinks consumed on the premises must be purchased on site).  There will also be hot food and variety of cold alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks on offer.

For those who would like to camp overnight do they need to pre-book, or can they just turn up with their camping gear?

FamFest festivals finish at 6pm, however if you fancy pitching up for the night you are more than welcome!

We will be having a group campfire for the select few that choose to camp with us on this event, we will be providing acoustic chill music into the evening.

Toilet & Showers Available Our beautifully unique site is quirky, laid back, and everything you need to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life chill and delve into a picturesque piece of nature.  With deer, rabbits, and pheasants in such abundance you’ll struggle to hurry them out of your path. Chilling out around a campfire, having a few drinks, singing a few songs, what more could you wish for!

Why should people come to FAM FEST?

FamFest festivals are the perfect opportunity to make some summer memories with your friends and family.  Unlike traditional festivals, there will be plenty of room to chill out, set up a picnic, dance and take in the festival vibes on the beautiful Dorset coast – what more could you want!

What are some of the big attractions? 

The biggest attraction is the experience itself! How often do you get to hang out with your family listening to music and dancing together, making summer memories? Listening to Brandon Block at Ibiza Chill House, singing at the top of your voice at Everybody Sing Now, discovering a bit of UK soul in the Morethan Soul Experience or partying to the classics at Back To The 80’s.
