The public realm refurbishment project includes improvements to public walkways, high-level decorating and landscaping, LED festoon lighting, and additional seating.
Local contractor Scope has been appointed to carry out the eight-month phased programme of works, which is expected to be completed in spring 2025.
Anne Jolliffe, Tower Park General Manager, said:
“We’re thrilled to be starting the refurbishment at Tower Park. The destination has been entertaining both locals and tourists since opening in 1989, and we hope to enhance the experience for our guests by improving the outdoor environment.
Tower Park will remain open throughout the refurbishment, and we will be keeping both our guests and the wider community up to date as we progress through the planned programme. We can’t wait to see the results next year.”
A popular leisure destination with both locals and visitors alike, Tower Park is home to 13 leisure, activity, and restaurant brands, with more brands set to open in coming months, and welcomes over 3 million guests every year.
