We recommend
Each play area will be inspected for safety and cleaned. Grass will be cut where needed.
New signs at entrances will advise visitors on social distancing measures and guidelines. BCP encourage visitors to "Think Twice" - if the park is busy, come back later and to consider limiting the length of visits to the park so that more children are able to use the facilities.
Play areas should pose a low risk of infection as they have been closed for over 3 months. The main risk of infection is person-to-person contact and touch points in the play area while it is in use.
You're advised to take hand sanitiser with you. Encourage children to use it regularly, and to wash their hands before arriving and when they return home.
BCP will continue to monitor infection rates across BCP with Public Health. Public playgrounds may need to close again if they become concerned about infection risks.
Below is a list of the play areas that will be open from Saturday 4 July with the aim to get the rest of the play areas open by Monday 6 July.
The play area at Canford Heath Parkway in Poole will remain closed for refurbishment.
