Schools Trips & Gold DofE Residentials

In addition to offering unforgettable group and private adventures, Land & Wave also specialises in delivering high-quality outdoor education experiences for schools and Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) residential trips.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a renowned youth development programme that helps young people build confidence, resilience, and valuable life skills through physical challenges, volunteering, and adventure.

As part of the Gold DofE Award, the Residential section involves a five-day, four-night stay where participants step out of their comfort zones and immerse themselves in new environments—just like the ones Land & Wave create.

Their DofE Residentials include exciting, skill-building activities such as Coasteering, Paddle Boarding, Bushcraft, and more—designed to challenge, inspire, and support personal growth in a fun and supportive setting.

Outdoor Instructor Training

Their Fast Track Outdoor Instructor Training is the quickest, most effective way to kickstart a career in the outdoor industry—offering 16 nationally recognised qualifications in just 15 weeks.

Based in beautiful Dorset, the Land & Wave Outdoor Instructor Training Course is built on over a decade of experience. It’s a trusted and constantly evolving programme, designed to turn passionate people into confident, qualified outdoor professionals.
