Adventure Wonderland Site Near Bournemouth Airport Transformed

Former Adventure Wonderland site could be transformed into educational safe space.

Plans have been submitted to improve the former Adventure Wonderland site near Bournemouth Airport, to improve the area for its tenants, Diverse Abilities, Merritown and Discovery Village. 

Diverse Abilities are based in The Treehouse, which hosts an indoor soft play area, a gaming room, a sensory room, and a cinema, providing a safe space for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and their siblings.

These recent plans will enhance the current area and create sustainable outdoor spaces, including sensory gardens and water play areas.

The plans would see the cafe reopen, the maze and karting track retained for pedal tractors, former ride areas become gardens and outdoor play spaces, and a new minigolf area introduced. 

Should these plans go ahead, the site could become a huge asset to those children and their families that visit the former Adventure Wonderland site by providing them with a safe, supportive, educational outdoor space that focuses on positive experiences.
