About: Pamphill Bluebell Woods is not just one of the best locations to see bluebells and other spring flowers in Dorset, but also the whole country. It is located just a 15 minute drive out of Poole and is full of beautiful ancient trees (the perfect habitat for bluebells!) There is a car park just a short walk from the woods which is free during bluebell season, and dogs are welcome on leads.

Kingston Lacy
About: Kingston Lacy boasts a carpet of beautiful bluebells when April/May comes around each year. The most popular place to see them is Abbott Street Copse, which is part of the Kingston Lacy estate. Take a walk through the magical ancient woodland and experience some of the best bluebell scenes there is to offer here in Dorset!

Badbury Rings
About: Badbury Rings is also part of the Kingston Lacy estate, and just a short distance from Pamphill. It is one of Dorset’s 32 Iron Age hillforts, and certainly one of the finest! Here, you can see more bluebells in all their finery dipping in and out of the woodlands nearby. This location has a huge variety of different walks that can be enjoyed with dogs too!

Ashmore Woods
About: Ashmore Woods is located slightly further out of Poole but it is definitely worth the travel as it is a haven for gorgeous wildflowers during the Spring months – particularly bluebells. It is a Forestry Commission England Wood and sits just outside the village of Ashmore, approximately 20 miles from Poole.

Bluebell Community Woodland and Garden
About: Much more central to Poole, located in Hamworthy, you can find this newly set up community woodland and garden in the grounds of St Michael's Church. Bluebell Woodland certainly lives up to its name, and flowered a beautiful carpet of bluebells last year so it's a fab hidden gem to discover with loved ones! Their bluebell collection is growing year on year, so we definitely recommend you come and see these beauties.
