Poole's festive light spectacle will make a triumphant comeback for its second year
The Poole Christmas Maritime Light Trail, which stretches from Poole town to the Quay, will be illuminating the area from November 25th to January 2nd.
This delightful event is organised by the BCP Council and receives support from Poole BID. It showcases a captivating display of maritime-themed decorations, paying homage to Poole's rich history.
A fresh addition for this year will be the dazzling two-meter gold lettering spelling Poole, radiantly positioned by the Sea Music sculpture on Poole Quay.
Moreover, one of the illuminated trees placed along the High Street will feature an interactive element, allowing onlookers to manipulate the tree's colours and animations by simply downloading an app.
Using the smartphone app, you can set the lights to flash in perfect rhythm, and there's even a special 'selfie' mode to capture the magic.
In the meantime, the tall ship has been elegantly elevated on a striking blue plinth, creating the illusion that it's sailing through the night.
Beloved favorites, including the towering five-meter ship, the whimsical recycling whale, the grand illuminated anchor, the golden walk-through bauble, and a range of maritime-themed trees, will all be making a joyous return.
On the opening night, Santa Claus will parade through the town and board a City Cruise boat at Poole Quay, with Poole BID, the primary sponsors, soon unveiling their window display competition.
Beloved favorites, including the towering five-meter ship, the whimsical recycling whale, the grand illuminated anchor, the golden walk-through bauble, and a range of maritime-themed trees, will all be making a joyous return.
