Individuality Swimming and Fitness Founder Kristin Maguire Wins Silver at National Awards

We would like to take this opportunity to say congratulations to Total Guide to Dorset client Kristin Maguire on picking up a silver award in the ‘Working with Children and Families’ category at this year’s Best Business Women Awards held in Wembley.

These awards are now considered to be one of the UK’s most prestigious awards for business women with around 350 people attending the glamourous awards evening at Wembley Hilton Hotel.

Reflecting on her remarkable achievement, Kristin Maguire shared her thoughts, saying, “It was very inspirational as all the participants where woman who run some amazing businesses both large and small from all over the country. It was interesting chatting to people about how they developed their businesses and the struggles they faced doing so. The general feeling in the room was one of cerebration and excitement, celebrating the achievements these women had accomplished made me feel very proud of the achievements we at Individuality have achieved. I feel very proud and humbled at winning our first national award.”

Kristin has always been passionate about swimming, even from an early age and she launched her business in 2002. Individuality has grown to about 3400 clients each week and she has an amazing team of teachers working for the school. Individuality has now also become a training academy so they can train teachers in-house. When Kirstin isn’t busy running her business, she is busy running around after her three little boys.

Individuality Swimming and Fitness is a swim school offering swimming lessons at local pools for babies, kids & adults in Poole and the surrounding areas.

To add to their award-winning news, they have also recently won the STA UK swim school provider award – their first national award.

They also picked up a Finalists Scale Up Award with the Dorset Chamber at the Dorset Business Festival last week. Kristin the Managing Director won the Silver award for Southern England Business Women of the Year 2023.
