REVIEW: Lush Spa’s New Rewilding Facial

Having been fortunate enough to experience 3 of Lush Spa's treatments, I jumped at the chance to try their brand new Rewilding Facial.

I love a facial and Head and Neck massage and this brings the two together and some! Not only was it an incredibly relaxing experience but my skin is completely glowing now. I was nervous that I had to head straight out to client meetings without make-up but I feel confident make-up up free today after this treatment!

As always with Lush Spa, from the moment I stepped inside I knew I was in for something truly special. The cosy, apothecary-style surroundings, combined with soothing scents and gentle music, set the tone for what can only be described as 50+ minutes of pure bliss.

The Rewilding Facial is designed to rejuvenate tired, dull skin while promoting deep relaxation. My therapist began with a consultation and described what to expect from the treatment, talking me through of all of the freshly made sustainable Lush products. The fresh ingredients are rewilding ecosystems around the world and include Rapeseed Oil from Fukushima, Rose Water, Brazilian Honey and Sumatran Petunias.

The treatment combined lifting techniques and sculpting massage with hot and cold therapy. Every step felt purposeful, and the attention to detail was exceptional - all while listening to a carefully crafted soundtrack to match each step of the process.

One of the standout moments was the use of heated and cooled tools that encouraged circulation and left my skin feeling plumper, firmer, and more radiant. By the end, my face not only looked refreshed – it positively glowed. I loved that the treatment started off warm and slow, and then as the music gathered pace, the cooled tools were introduced and I felt like I ended the treatment perfectly relaxed but ready to get on with the day; I normally dread the end of a treatment and having to drag yourself away.

The Rewilding Facial doesn’t just treat the skin; it treats the soul. It’s the perfect antidote to modern stress, offering a much-needed escape and a chance to reconnect with yourself. I walked out of Lush Spa feeling lighter, brighter, and ready to face the day.
