The New Forest Off Road Half Marathon

If you are looking for a fantastic way to make the most of your 2025 running season, then look no further. The New Forest Half Marathon - Hinton Admiral Estate is an incredible trail running event set in the exclusive Hinton Admiral Estate in the New Forest National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Organisers have been given unique access to this unspoilt private estate. This special treat will allow runners to run through parts of the estate that have never been open to the public before. These untouched parts of the New Forest are as nature intended them to be, with the magnificent scenery your senses will not be able to take in the sheer beauty surrounding you as you run.

The route has it all, spectacular tree-lined paths, trails surrounded by beautiful vibrant coloured bracken and hard packed gravel pathways. The route weaves through impressive ancient forests and untouched secret heathlands where you may encounter deer roaming free and grazing on the side of the trails.

The flat profile of the route makes it a perfect early season event. The route can be described as relatively flat with only 106m of elevation gain over the full half marathon route. Perfect for your early season legs!

If you're not quite up for the full half marathon, there are two other shorter routes to choose from - Standard (14km) and Short (10km).
