NEW pool attraction set to make a splash at Pelhams!

This summer, children aged 8+ are challenged to take on a brand-new pool attraction Raptor Run at BH Live Active, Pelhams in Kinson, North Bournemouth.

With obstacles, spikes and a tail slide to navigate, the new inflatable pool attraction is set to make a splash with both partygoers and residents with each session guaranteeing up to 45 minutes of fun.

Opening on Tuesday 23 July 2024, sessions will run on weekends and Tuesday mornings during the school holidays and will cost £7 for juniors and £8 for adults. The attraction will also be included in BH Live Active’s Junior and Adult memberships.

Pelhams is operated by BH Live, a registered charity and social enterprise, in partnership with BCP Council.

This latest investment by BH Live has been created to expand the centre’s junior activity offering and encourage more young people to stay active.

“Pelhams is already such a hub of activity for young people. We hope lots of visitors will have fun making a splash on the Raptor Run!”

An important community facility, the team at Pelhams works closely with the local community groups, clubs and health partners to provide fitness opportunities and social activities for all.

As well as Raptor Run, the centre is also home to a BH Live Swimming Academy, teaching thousands of children to swim every week. There is a soft play facility for children under 5 and a Terrace Café with free Wi-Fi where visitors can buy snacks, meals and drinks to enjoy indoors or outdoors. Outdoor 3G rubber crumb football pitches are also used by local clubs for training and play. Party packages are also available at the centre.
