Night bus service resumes with new routes and £2 fare cap in Bournemouth and Poole

A night bus service, suspended since the pandemic, is resuming operations.

Three routes, including one newly introduced, will operate in Bournemouth, Poole, and the surrounding areas every Friday and Saturday night starting from 20 September. Fares will be limited to £2 per trip.

The decision to restart the service comes after a consultation by Morebus.

The N1 route will follow the m1 route, connecting Poole and Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

The N2 will mirror the m2 route, extending from Southbourne to Tuckton, Barrack Road, Christchurch, and Two Riversmeet.

The new N5 route will connect Bournemouth and Bournemouth Station with the BU Talbot Campus.

Period passes will be accepted, and passengers can also benefit from tap on tap off weekly fare capping.
