Opportunities for Town Centre Living – Now Available at Treetops

High quality contemporary homes that will help create a sustainable town centre community are now available for rent. Attractive, secure and conveniently placed, Treetops, a development near St Stephens Church in Bournemouth, which was completed in a COVID-compliant way this month, offers 46 one-, two- and three- bedroom apartments for private rental.

This £12M development has been delivered by Bournemouth Development Company, a 50:50 public-private partnership between BCP Council and national urban regenerator Muse Developments, a Morgan Sindall Group Company, and built by local contractors Parsons and Joyce. As well as providing high-quality homes, this project will return profits back to the council for investment in future regeneration projects.

Just minutes from Bournemouth’s Upper and Lower Gardens and a short stroll to the seafront, these modern well-built apartments are already attracting a high level of interest with over 50% reserved. Ideally placed for shops, restaurants and cafes and in close proximity to bus and rail access, Treetops is ideally situated in the heart of the town. The homes will be operated as a private-sector rental scheme via the Council’s wholly owned company, Seascape Homes & Property Ltd.

Councillor Bob Lawton, Portfolio Holder for Homes said:
“We’re delighted to be delivering these high-quality homes in such a central, convenient location. Town centre living, with all the amenities that brings as well as the proximity to the seafront make these a superb choice for so many people.”

Councillor Phillip Broadhead, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, Economy and Strategic Planning said:
“The completion of this partnership development is great news for BCP Council, and is another step towards regenerating the town centre, while also delivering funds back to the council for future projects.”

Anna Lindfield, Development Manager, Bournemouth Development Company, said:

“We’re proud to have completed another successful BDC scheme safely and in line with government guidelines, despite the challenging times we’re in. We’re committed to repurposing under-used and unloved sites in partnership to benefit communities. Together with BCP Council, we’ve transformed this scheme into a series of stunning homes that’s driving local economic growth and creating a wealth of opportunities and prosperity at a time when it’s needed most.”
