BREAKING: Poole's Beaches Have Run Out Of Sand
Poole's residents woke up to the shocking news this morning that its beautiful beaches have run out of sand with not a single grain left. Total Guide to Poole has more developments on the sand crisis affecting the town below.
The sand replenishment efforts of Poole's council appear to have been washed away overnight as news continues to crash in that Poole's beaches have had all of their sand removed overnight with the beaches left with marshlike sediment instead.
The waves that typically crash into the sandy beaches dotted around Poole and Bournemouth are instead now seeking other shores to stop.
But where has the sand gone and what sandy suspects could have done this? We spoke to one Poole resident who claims to have seen the incident unfold.
Sandy Shales of Ocean Drive said: "It's like magic, one minute the sand was there and the next moment it wasn't.
"I did see a few shady characters hanging around down near Sandbanks with a few buckets and spades in hand.
"There needs to be a stop to people building sand castles because this has just got out of hand now."
We approached Poole Council for comment but were told that they were hard at work trying to source fresh imports of sand from the Carribean.
Of course this is a completely false story made by the team at Total Guide to Poole to celebrate April Fool's Day. We hope you enjoyed reading and got a laugh out of it as we did.
