Dorset’s first Ducati motorcycle dealership, dedicated to the iconic Italian brand, will open at Ferndown Industrial Estate, Wimborne this weekend.
Local Ducatisti and motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to join the Ducati Bournemouth team for the official ribbon cutting at 10am on Sunday 30th April, then get their first look inside the 7000 sq ft store including the state-of-the-art workshop.
Alongside the 2023 Ducati and Ducati Scrambler range, fans will have the chance to see a John Hackett prepared GSE Racing 916 ridden by Troy Bayliss in 1998 BSB Championship.
The onsite café - while not serving food at the launch event as free pizza and coffee is on offer - will be screening the Spanish round of the Moto GP as well as hosting Q&A sessions with World SBK rider Chaz Davies, compered by commentator and presenter Greg Haines.
Mark Langford, Managing Director of Breeze Motor Group, owners of Ducati Bournemouth said: “After a few building delays, we’re excited to finally be opening Ducati Bournemouth for the start of the season. We’d like to thank everyone for their patience and support – we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors and are confident you’ll agree it’s been worth the wait!”
A free prize draw will be running throughout the day with a chance to win an Arai RX-7V Corse V5 helmet, Ducati insurance voucher, and Muc-Off goodies among other prizes.
