Elysha Willis of the Ocean Automotive Group has had a great September!

September is almost over! What has this month brought for small business owners? Today we’re talking to Elysha Willis who is marketing manager and CRM manager at the Ocean Automotive Group who are a car dealership group based in Poole.

Elysha is sharing with us how September has been for her and the Ocean Automotive Group.

How was your summer? Any highlights for you or your business? 
Summer was incredibly busy for Ocean Automotive. Most of our events with our partners and car brands fall over Summer so lots to do including County Shows, Boat Days, Golf Days, Food Festivals etc. 

What happened with your business in September?
We entered September with the new 73-plate REG which we hosted a midnight handover for at Poole Audi, along with some upgrade events across our other dealerships. September is all about new cars and then preparing for Q4 with the new car offers.

September is also known as ‘organic’ month – when it comes to your organisation, what do you do to be ‘more green’?
Both our car brands, Audi and Volvo, offer hybrid or fully electric vehicles that are kinder to the planet, as well as our pockets. They are all for minimising carbon emissions whilst not compromising on the customer experience or how their vehicles perform. 

World Gratitude Day took place this month (Sept 21). What are you grateful for in your organisation? 
I am grateful to work with such great brands and great teams across our dealerships. I feel very fortunate to come to work every day and thoroughly enjoy what I do. 

What are your hopes for business for the rest of this year?
The goals for the year are to carry the success of 2023 right through to the end whilst preparing for 2024. We have an exciting event coming up at Poole Audi in November and we are excited to share more about that soon.
