Part one of the Rockwater Village complex in Sandbanks is now open for business and enjoyed an incredible Easter weekend debut.
Developers were recently told that construction on the main leisure complex at the former Sandbanks Café would have to be delayed by a year amid summer disruption fears. Despite this setback, entrepreneur Luke Davis is hopeful that ‘Shacks by the Shore’ will build up the brand of Rockwater after the sucsessful opening on Friday, April 7.
The pop-ups sell a range of foods, including brioche rolls for breakfast, oysters, lobster and hot dogs for lunch, ice creams for dessert, plus draught beer and wine.
Luke, who plans to open the sister Rockwater Village site in Branksome in July, has also said the Sandbanks site will host yoga classes, Pilates and music gigs this summer.
This is going to be one of the hottest spots in Dorset this summer, we can't wait to visit!
