The Dolphin Shopping Centre welcomes re-opening of further retailers

More non-essential retailers have re-opened in the Dolphin Shopping Centre, Poole following the Government announcement to ease lockdown restrictions. See below for a full list of retailers open for business.

The centre has adapted its layout to reflect the required social distancing measures. A one-way system has been created throughout the centre, with space allocated outside each retailer for queuing. In addition to Dolphin staff, each retailer also has a dedicated team member at the entrance of the shop to manage the number of shoppers inside.

John Grinnell, Centre Manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, commented: “It is great to welcome back such a wide range of our retailers. As a management team, we have worked in partnership with our retailers to ensure we can deliver a safe shopping experience to all our of customers. We have received positive feedback from shoppers regarding their experience at the centre since our re-opening and we’re proud to provide people with reassurance and trust that we are prioritising their safety at this time.”

Rosie Latham, local resident, added: “The one-way system works perfectly, in fact it’s much better than normal as it stops people walking into each other.”

The Dolphin Shopping Centre is currently open Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm, and Sundays from 10am to 5.30pm. Elderly and vulnerable customers are encouraged to shop between the hours of 9am to 10am, whilst NHS and key workers will be given priority between 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
