AFC Bournemouth partners with ESET to strengthen cybersecurity ahead of premier league season

AFC Bournemouth has announced the appointment of ESET as its official cybersecurity partner.

ESET, a cybersecurity company with its UK headquarters in Bournemouth, will enhance the football club's digital security as it gears up for the upcoming Premier League season and completes the construction of its new training facility.

As AFC Bournemouth expands its digital presence to improve the experience for both fans and players, the club is taking proactive steps to address potential cybersecurity risks. To strengthen its defenses, the club has enlisted the expertise of ESET, a firm with extensive industry experience, including its role as the IT security partner for German football club Borussia Dortmund.

AFC Bournemouth will implement ESET’s 'PROTECT Elite' package, which includes 'Detection and Response Ultimate' services across 350 devices. This ensures comprehensive security for players, fans, and the club's state-of-the-art training ground.

With access to ESET's advanced threat intelligence team and cutting-edge technology, AFC Bournemouth will benefit from continuous, expert-led threat monitoring and response, safeguarding the club around the clock.

This partnership builds on an existing five-year relationship between ESET and AFC Bournemouth. ESET has previously partnered with the club’s Community Sports Trust and serves as the regional partner for AFC Bournemouth's women's football team.
