Title-chasing AFC Bournemouth women back at Vitality Stadium next month
AFC Bournemouth’s women’s team will be back at Vitality Stadium next month, as they look to continue their quest for a league title.
The Cherries are set to take on Bristol Rovers on Sunday, March 23rd (2pm) in a fixture which could see them take a big step towards the FA Women’s National League Division One South West crown.
Managed by boss Steve Cuss, the side has enjoyed a stellar season so far, winning all 12 of their league fixtures.
That included a 7-0 victory over Bournemouth Sports last time out, thanks to goals from Chloe Gilroy (2), Ellie Strippel (2), Amber Treweek (2) and Molly Barron-Clark.
They have scored more than 100 goals in all competitions and are top of the division with three games in hand on nearest rivals Moneyfields.
The fixture against Bristol Rovers comes after more than 6,000 people witnessed the Cherries beat Swindon Town in a memorable top-of-the-table clash at Vitality Stadium back in November.
Tickets are available to purchase via this link.
Every Monday between the on-sale and matchday, all supporters that have purchased tickets for the fixture will also be entered into a draw to win AFC Bournemouth prizes.
